We warmly invite you to the Vartiosaari Artists House 2025 Open Studios, taking place August 30–31, 2025, Saturday 13:00–23:00 and Sunday 12:00–19:00 on the magical island of Vartiosaari.

Join us as we open our spaces, studios, and forest for a weekend filled with exhibitions, performances, screenings, food, and shared moments at the close of summer.

Saturday, August 30 13:00–23:00

• Potluck lunch at 13:00
• Launch of the 3rd Vartiosaari Catalogue by Torsten Zenas Burns
• Exhibition opening
• Artist-led guided tour
• Performance by Femi Adebajo
• Two curated screening sessions
• BBQ
• Optional moonlit walk through the forest

🛥️ Ferry Info (Saturday):
Regular ferries run between 10:00 and 19:00.
A special late-night ferry will depart at 23:00 to return to the mainland.

Sunday, August 31 12:00–19:00

• EXHIBITION OPEN & MEDIA BARN screenings are looping all day
• Exhibition tours
• DJs – maija & vorony (IDA Radio) will share some Sunday tunes, rough around the edges while perfectly fit for the last day of the summer
